Founded in 1870, Dillabaugh Inc. is a bonded and insured company specializing in the relocation of structures, demolition, and excavation (including excavation under existing structures).  Not only have we worked alongside homeowners, contractors, and large companies, we've also worked with many historical societies.  Preserving the past requires special handling and expertise- something we're well-equipped with!  Our relocation operations don't just stop at homes and other buildings; we've moved railroad locomotives, bridges, storage tanks, electric transformers- even the Apollo Space Capsule!  Located in Crown Point,Indiana, we’re centrally located, which is most advantageous for quick mobilization throughout the contiguous forty-eight states.

The standards for drug testing set forth by our company are stringently enforced, as well as other safety measures outlined. All employees have at a minimum passed the OSHA 10-hour course, and our company receives third-party safety audits by Pacific Industrial Contractor Screening (PICS). 

Our employees have the following training, certifications, and licenses:

All labor-based employees are:

• Routinely and randomly drug tested.  
• OSHA 10-hour certified.  
• CPR and first aid trained and certified.  
• Fire safety and prevention trained and certified.  

Most labor-based employees have the following qualifications: 

• OSHA 30-hour certified.  
• OSHA 40-hour (HAZWOPER) certified.  
• OSHA 40-hour supervisor. 
• UST removal supervisor.    
• Mold remediation supervisor. 
• Railway safety training, including Chicago Transit Authority, CSX, Metra.
